Comedian Russell Brand tweeted a picture of a Daily Mail reporter’s business card to his 8.7m followers, including details of his phone numbers and email address.
Reporter Neil Sears had apparently called on Brand to discuss his tax affairs.
Brand said on Twitter: “Lord Rothermere and @DailyMailUK avoid tax. One of their senior reporters wants to talk about it.”
The card included the reporter's mobile and office telephone numbers.
Brand deleted the tweet shortly after posting, adding: “That was a bit nuts. He put it thru me door with ‘please call’ on it. They're bothering me Mum. Deleted it. I'm human.”
