BBC Magazines will this week launch a revamped version of the Radio Times, its weekly TV listings title.
The refresh of the magazine will see it adopt a redesigned listings section; include eight more and a revamp the cover.
This week’s edition, which features Joanna Lumley on the cover, will also introduce a weekly guide to the best of ‘catch-up television and radio’ on iPlayer.
The magazine will also introduce a regular column by radio presenter Eddie Mair and give greater coverage to sports and children’s programming.
The refresh sees the first change since Ben Preston replaced Gill Hudson as editor of the magazine in July.
The Radio Times is the third biggest selling magazine in the UK however according to the Audit Bureau of Circulation; the magazine experienced a 2.2 per cent year-on-year decrease to an average weekly sale of 1,648,000 in the second half of last year.
