Richard Desmond’s OK! Magazine has joined the long list of publications offering iPhone applications with the launch today of Celebspotter.
Unlike most other magazine apps, Celebspotter’s USP is a location-based guide that allows users to keep abreast of the pubs, bars and restaurants in the their aeras which are frequented by celebrities.
The app, which has a one-off charge of £1.79, also features a ‘utility’ function granting users unlimited access to series of events listings and related directories.
The release of this application follows last month’s decision by Express Newspapers to launch iPad editions of the Daily and Sunday Express.
