Tory leader David Cameron took time out from his summer break in Cornwall to meet 70 readers of the Western Morning News readers and take part in a question-and-answer session.
(Although the Independent questions the validity of an online poll run by the paper, asking whether Cameron would make a good prime minister.)
Dave also took part in a debate with young listeners in Cornwall for BBC Radio 1’s current affairs programme, Newsbeat.
