BBC News has launched a promotional campaign to encourage more people to access news on their mobile.
In a post on the BBC editors’ blog, BBC News editor Steve Herrmann said the on-air trails would run for “a couple of weeks”.
It follows a recent survey in which the BBC asked viewers about their news consumption habits and the extent to which they used their mobile phones to get information
According to data from M:Metrics, 3.2 million people in the UK access BBC News via mobile – up 26 per cent year on year.
