SIGN UP NOW TO RECEIVE PRESS GAZETTE – JOURNALISM WEEKLY
Ever since Press Gazette magazine went monthly four years ago I’ve had journalists telling me they miss their weekly fix of journalism news and asking whether the weekly edition will ever return.
Well I’m pleased to say that at last we have some good news on that front.
From the end of this month Press Gazette is set to return as a weekly magazine in a digital format optimised to be read on iPads, e-readers, desktops, laptops, iPhones and other mobile devices.
The relaunch of Press Gazette as a weekly title isn’t about nostalgia – it’s about packaging our content in the best way for busy journalists to have a weekly way to catch up on the latest industry news, gossip, tips and insight.
Every week www.pressgazette.co.uk publishes 50-plus stories, blog posts and features. Press Gazette Journalism Weekly will provide an easy way to catch up on the best of that news while also providing its own bespoke content and a taster of the best of the monthly magazine.
To get Press Gazette Journalism Weekly off the ground we need your help. We already have 7,000 subscribers opted in to receive email news from Press Gazette. If we can get that figure up to 10,000 by the end of this month we believe we’ll have a compelling case for advertisers and it will be all systems go for the new launch.
It doesn’t cost a penny to subscribe. But we do ask that when you sign up you tell us a few things about yourself, like where you work and what area of journalism you are in.
So if you haven’t yet signed up to receive email news from Press Gazette please fill in your details by clicking on the link below and be among the first to receive Journalism Weekly. Please encourage your friends to do so as well!
UPDATE (29 May): Since announcing the launch of Press Gazette – Journalism Weekly, a decision has been taken to switch the print magazine from monthly to quarterly publication.
