Controversial columnist Katy Hopkins is leaving The Sun for Mail Online.

Hopkins' final Sun column will appear in the newspaper tomorrow and she starts at Mail Online on 1 November.

In April this year, The Sun resisted calls to sack Katie Hopkins over a controversial column about migrants, which resulted in complaints made the the Independent Press Standards Organisation and the Metropolitan Police. In it, she said: "Make no mistake, these migrants are like cockroaches."
