OK! magazine launches as a paid-for iPad app

Richard Desmond has followed up his launch of The Express newspaper as an iPad app by launching his flagship celebrity weekly OK! magazine on the device.

According to the developers the app will be updated with stories live as they are published.

The app replicates the print edition of the magazine using page turning technology by mobile specialists PageSuite.

Readers can download the app from iTunes for £2.39 giving 30 days access to the current and back issues of OK!

Readers can then renew for a month (four editions) for £8.99 or take out a three-month subscription (13 editions) for £25.99 or a six-month subscription (26 editions) for £49.99.
