Tatler editor Richard Dennen has announced new senior appointments at the magazine ahead of his first issue in charge.
Emma Elwick-Bates (pictured) will join the high society magazine as editor-at-large, joining from US Vogue where she was fashion news editor. She previously held the position of style editor at Vogue in the UK.
Former Love magazine senior editor Harriet Verney is also joining as fashion features editor.
Other appointments include contributing style editor Serena Hood, contributing fashion editors for the print title Sarajane Hoare and Mimi Wade, and Amelia Windsor and Anais Gallagher as contributing fashion editors for Tatler.com.
The July issue, out on 31 May, is the first under former Mail on Sunday features writer-at-large Dennen’s editorship after his appointment was announced in February.
He later axed all of the magazine’s remaining columnists.
A spokesperson for the magazine’s owner, Conde Nast Britain, said at the time: “It’s usual for an incoming editor to make some changes to the team.”
According to ABC figures from July to December last year, Tatler magazine has a combined print and digital edition circulation of 78,082.
Its website had 395,601 unique monthly users between January and March this year, according to the title’s own figures.
