Only four magazine titles in the women’s fashion/lifestyle sector managed to grow their sale in the last six months of 2013.
Good Housekeeping was the best-selling paid-for title, up 0.4 per cent to 410,981. Prima also managed to put on sales (up 1.6 per cent to 260,051), as did Women’s Health (up 3.4 per cent to 105,456) and Woman and Home (up 0.2 per cent to 353,169).
Big fallers included Cosmopolitan (down 9.5 per cent year on year), Marie Claire (down 11.6 per cent) and Look (down 17.4 per cent).
