United Business Media looks to grow events division

United Business Media, home to Publican and Music Week publisher CMPi, is looking to buy more conference businesses in the coming year, The Guardian reports.

The group posted an 11.5 per cent rise in profits to £166.1m in its end-of-year results. Chief executive David Levin said the company’s biggest exhibitions were “in rude health”.
