ESPN Formula One is hiring an assistant editor. You will be responsible for the ongoing upkeep of the ESPN F1 site, covering matches and management of live events. You should have proven experience within motor sport editorial with a primary focus on Formula One or a passion for the sport teamed with a strong journalistic background.

Job location: London, Hammersmith. Closing date: 7 November.

New Media Lux SA, a multimedia publisher of magazines and information websites, is looking for a journalist. You will produce daily content for the website, conduct interviews and attend press conferences. You should be an experienced journalist with a degree level education, ideally in journalism. You should also have a good knowledge of at least one of the following languages: French, German or Portuguese.

The role involves picture selection and usage to copy editing, headline writing and page design. The job also involves digital tasks.

Guardian Series Cheshire is looking for a features sub-editor/writer to work as part of the commercial features team for nine months to cover for maternity leave. You will be responsible for picture usage, headline writing and copy subbing to design and writing advertisement features. You will help assemble a pool of talent that can write on fashion, grooming, sport, motoring, celebrity, business/finance, gadgets and property. In addition, you will be expected to provide inputs to a companion website. You should have a background on a broadsheet or weekend supplement and a good range of contacts.

BBC Radio Solent is hiring a daytime presenter (broadcast journalist) on a 12-month fixed term/freelance contract. You should have the ability to capture and deliver issues. From political debate to the local panto, you should possess a versatile interviewing style and inquisitiveness. Knowledge of BBC’s editorial patch would be an advantage, along with an understanding of the diverse communities of the region.
