Sunday Times takes two out of three Press Club scoop nominations with 'Fifa files' and 'Trojan Horse'

Two Sunday Times stories are in the running for scoop of the year at the London Press Club Awards.

The three finalists are:

  • The Mail on Sunday, for its story revealing that workers making ‘This Is What A Feminist Looks Like’ T-shirts were paid 62p an hour
  • The Sunday Times, for its reporting of the ‘Trojan Horse’ plot by 'Islamists' in Birmingham to take control of state schools
  • The Sunday Times, for 'Fifa files'.

The Daily Mail, Daily Mirror and Times are nominated for daily newspaper of the year. The club has shortlisted the Independent on Sunday, Mail on Sunday and Sunday Times for Sunday newspaper of the year.
