Sun calls Heather a liar despite legal threat

By Press Gazette

The Sun today repeated its allegations against Heather Mills McCartney under the headline “Bloody Liar”.

Yesterday, Mills McCartney’s lawyers said they were going to sue the Daily Mail and Evening Standard and were considering suing The Sun.

The Sun today publishes a box under the heading “Come on Heather, What exactly did we get wrong?

Is it that you’re a hooker, liar, porn star, fantasist, trouble maker or shoplifter?”

In a statement yesterday, Mills McCartney's legal representatives said she had been vilified in the media and was now being stalked by photographers. They called on the media to show “restraint” in covering the bitter divorce battle between the former Beatle and their client.
