Eight more journalists are said to be at risk of redundancy at Newsquest Wiltshire.
The job losses come after six photographry staff in the area were made redundant by the publisher last month.
And last year, 25 staff across Newsquest Wiltshire – which includes the Swindon Advertiser and Wiltshire Times – and Oxfordshire were put at risk of redundancy.
Holdthefrontpage reports that a weekly news editor position is at risk in the latest round of cuts, as are a series of production roles.
But, according to the website, there will be a net reduction of three posts because four content editor positions and a group deputy news editor job are being created.
Laura Davison, NUJ national organiser, said: "The roll call of job losses goes on during Newsquest's summer sacking season. Experienced journalists are being replaced or are expected to take on lower-paid jobs which will mean they are not out and about reporting local news and meeting local MPs, businesses and the communities they serve. This must surely have an impact on the news coverage in the county."
