Iliffe News and Media has appointed Chris Gill as the new editor of Bedfordshire on Sunday and other Associated Newspapers in Bedfordshire and Northants.
Formerly deputy editor of Bedfordshire on Sunday, Gill will now oversee Iliffe’s LSN Media series of newspapers, which include the Luton & Dunstable Express, Northampton Herald & Post, Wellingborough Herald & Post and the Biggleswade Advertiser.
Gill, who started in his new role on 1 August, replaces Steve Lowe, who has been appointed LSN Media group editor.
Lowe also acts as editor-in-chief of Iliffe Media Central, a newly created position overseeing titles in Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Derbyshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire.
