Trinity Mirror is closing a free weekly newspaper in North Wales but launching two new editionalised version of the Daily Post.
From 6 January the Daily Post will publish a North East Wales edition and a North West Wales edition. Both will have distinct front and inside pages.
The North East Wales edition will cover the same patch as the Denbigshire Visitor, which is closing.
Trinity said there will be no reduction, or increase, in editorial staff as a result of the move.
The Daily Post has an ABC circulation figure of 32,414 – whiuch was down 4.5 per cent year on year in the first six months of this year.
