Regional publisher Local World today announced senior editorial shake-ups across three of its titles.
Black Country Bugle editor Rob Taylor is retiring after 33 years at the title, which his father Harry founded in 1972.
Taylor joined the Bugle in 1972 as deputy editor and took over as editor 20 years ago.
He said: "The Bugle has been described as unique and encyclopaedic in its content, and that is how I am pleased to leave it now, a much respected publication at the heart of our region.”?

Senior reporter Gavin Jones, who has worked at the Bugle for 20 years, will take over as acting editor with immediate effect.
Local World also announced that Jenny Eastwood has been appointed editor of The Citizen in Gloucestershire.
Eastwood is currently assistant editor of The Citizen and head of news at sister title The Gloucestershire Echo. She will start as editor on 8 April.
She said: “I feel very honoured to be taking up the role as editor of The Citizen which has a proud heritage in the city and county. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead our talented team here through what I know will be exciting times ahead for both our newspaper and our website.”
In addition, Local World has announced that Bede MacGowan will stand down as editor of the Llanelli Star to take over as group editor at Mid-Somerset News and Media.
This follows the retirement of Phil Welch, who announced he was standing down from the role in December after 43 years in journalism.
MacGowan said: “This is an incredibly exciting time to be taking on a new editorship within Local World and I feel proud and privileged to be entrusted with five well-respected Somerset titles.
"I'll be sorry to say goodbye to what is a fantastic team at the Llanelli Star, but after four happy and successful years, the time is ripe for a fresh challenge.?”
