The Liverpool Daily Post’s business news team are to present a weekly programme on the city’s new 24-hour talk radio station CityTalk 105.9FM.
The five reporters, led by business editor Bill Gleeson, will make their debut this Sunday in what will be called the LDP Business Week slot.
The show will feature business news and analysis, and studio interviews and debates with some of the city’s leading business movers and shakers.
The move is one of a series of developments being rolled out by the LDP Business brand over the next few weeks.
Liverpool Daily Post editor Mark Thomas said: “Our editorial team are already well-versed in video and podcast work for our website, so branching into full-on radio journalism just seems like another natural progression into the multi-media age.”
Gleeson added: ‘With European Capital of Culture year and the regeneration of Liverpool, these are exciting times for the business community in our city region.”
