Sienna Miller settles with News Group and agency in privacy battle

By Press Gazette

Sienna Miller has settled a privacy case against News Group Newspapers and Xposure Photo Agency after receiving a £37,0000 compensation payout.

Miller first took action against the companies after intrusive photographs of the actress, supplied by Xposure, were published in The Sun and the News of the World.

The companies have agreed not to republish any of the photographs and have agreed to delete all copies of them.

Miller will pursue a legal claim against an individual photographer and a default judgment is due to be heard in January. Mark Thomson at Carter Ruck and David Sherbourne of 5 Raymond Buildings will represent Miller.
