The newspaper published an interview today in which Kelly and Natalie Taylor, 26 and 22, claim their father has left them to live on benefits.
According to The Sun, Taylor claimed publication of the interview would invade his privacy “by revealing he had cut them off following his split from their mum Yvonne”.
The newspaper reported that despite writing two autobiographies and giving interviews on his marital break-up four years ago, Taylor had claimed that he “never put any aspect of his personal life into the public domain”.
The Sun said Taylor had also claimed publication would breach the Data Protection Act.
But a High Court judge threw out the claims and awarded The Sun costs, the paper reported.
