Mirror set for 3am shake-up after Sun’s Bizarre revamp

By William Turvill

The Mirror’s 3am celebrity section is set for a shake-up a month after The Sun’s Bizarre was revamped.

Current 3am editor Clemmie Moodie is moving to become associate features editor across the Mirror titles. She will be replaced by her current deputy Ashleigh Rainbird as editor.

Rainbird will be joined on 3am by Hannah Hope and Halina Watts as her deputies.

Last month, The Sun announced that Dan Wootton was to become the face of its Bizarre column.

Wootton, who is also showbiz correspondent for ITV’s Lorraine show, follows in the footsteps of former Daily Mirror and News of the World editor Piers Morgan, Sun on Sunday editor Victoria Newton and Scottish Sun editor Gordon Smart.

Wootton, formerly of the Daily Mail, Now Magazine and the News of the World, remains head of showbiz at The Sun.

The revamped Bizarre includes a new logo and a number of new features.
