Jurors retire in trial of tabloid four: Tom Wells, Neil Millard, Brandon Malinsky and Graham Brough

By PA Media Lawyer

Jurors have retired in the trial of four journalists accused of illegally paying public officials for stories.

The Sun's Tom Wells, Neil Millard and Brandon Malinsky and former Daily Mirror reporter Graham Brough are accused of conspiring to commit misconduct in a public office.

Malinsky, 50, from north London, Millard, 33, from south Croydon, Wells, 34, of south-east London, Brough, 54, of south-west London, and ex-immigration centre officer Mark Blake, 43, from Slough, deny the charges.

The trial, part of Operation Elveden at London's Old Bailey, began in February.
