Daniel Boffey appointed Guardian’s Brussels bureau chief

Daniel Boffey is leaving his role as Policy Editor of The Observer to become the Guardian’s Brussels bureau chief.

Boffey will start his new role from January 2017, having been at the Observer for six years.

He said: As Brexit negotiations intensify, I look forward to working with the Guardian’s correspondents across Europe to report on the changing nature of European politics, culture and society.”
