Blog-style relaunch for The Sun’s Fabulous mag website

By Press Gazette

The website of The Sun's Fabulous magazine has been relaunched in a new blog-style format.

The website was previously only updated once a week but will now be updated daily with beauty trends, key events and lifestyle and celebrity news, promising to give readers an 'exclusive peek into the team behind the magazine and behind-the-scenes gossip".

Editor Rachel Richardson 'We're enormously proud of the relaunched fabulousmag.co.uk site – which is exciting, fresh and more relevant than ever.

'Being a blog has allowed us to update our content literally minute by minute, in order to offer readers the latest celeb, fashion and beauty news.

'We're also proud to be one of the first fully-integrated content teams – and we've already received excellent feedback across the board.

'And as a result, hope to achieve in excess of 100,000 unique users a week."

The new site will continue to host all the articles found in its print edition, as well as extra video content and an e-edition of the magazine.

Publishers News International said the new format, which was created using WordPress VIP, had 'revolutionised the way the magazine works – creating a fully-integrated team which enables the team to cover even more fashion, celeb, beauty and lifestyle news as well as providing readers with an excellent level of interactivity and fresh content".

The website is edited by Sophie Maden.

The magazine is currently recruiting a new deputy editor after Natasha Pearlman left to take up the same role at Elle.
