The BBC dominates the journalism categories for the Sony Radio Academy Awards – but LBC radio host Nick Ferrari puts in a strong showing for the commercial sector with five nominations for his talk show.
After winning a British Press Award for digital innovation, Jon Gaunt is nominated as radio personality of the year for his daily SunTalk internet radio show. Another newspaper publisher making it on to the list of nominations is The Guardian which is nominated for internet radio programme of the year with Media Talk.
The winners will be announced at the awards dinner hosted by Chris Evans at Grosvenor House on 10 May.
