Tatler, the upmarket monthly published by Condé Nast, is marking the Queen’s 90th birthday by offering readers a special party blower as part of a bumper royal issue.
The May issue, hitting newsstands on Monday 4 April, is headlined “Happy birthday ma’am!” under a portrait of the Queen in her younger years.
The free horn, positioned next to the Queen’s mouth, is Tatler branded and will be given away with all newsstand issues.
Condé Nast is billing the issue as a “collector’s edition” which also includes a special 82-paged Royal Magazine to commemorate the Queen’s birthday on 21 April.
The Royal Magazine has a raft of royal-themed features. These include a feature on ‘How to party like a Queen’, ‘The ultimate royal dinner party’, ’18 signs that you might secretly be an illegitimate royal’ and ‘The Merry Wives of Henry Windsor' .
Cover mounts used by Tatler in the past have included beauty products, sunglasses and a pair of knickers.
Tatler is currently edited by Kate Reardon. According to ABC, its average monthly circulation is 84,412.
