Propertyweek.com trio win new journalist awards

Propertyweek.com journalists scooped three prizes at this year’s Periodicals Training Council New Journalist of the Year Awards.

New section editor of the year went to Claer Barrett, new b2b news journalist to Mike Philips and new b2b features journalist to Deidre Hipwell – all of Propertyweek.com, the CMP Information website for the property industry.

The wins crowns an award winning year for the brand, which was named business magazine of the year at the Periodicals Publishers’ Association Awards earlier this year.

Dan Jones, deputy features editor at Natmag Rodale monthly, Men’s Health won the overall new journalist of the year award. He also picked up the prize for new consumer (general) journalist of the year.

New editor of the year went to Ed Blomfield of White Lines Snowboard Magazine, published by Factory Media.
