Women’s Health editor Farrah Storr (pictured) has been made editor of Cosmopolitan, Hearst Magazines UK has announced.
Louise Court, who has edited the Cosmopolitan for eight years, meanwhile, has been named as director of editorial strategy and content across the group, which also publishes Good Housekeeping, Elle and Harper’s Bazaar.
Storr was the launch editor of Women’s Health in 2012. In this period, the title’s circulation has grown from 100,289 to 118,118. It initially launched as a quarterly magazine but is now published ten times a year.
In the second half of 2014, Cosmopolitan recorded an average monthly circulation of 257,725, down 9.9 per cent year on year. Hearst said the Cosmopolitan website currently attracts 5.5m unique users a month.
