Angry Michael Schumacher fans have bombarded a German magazine with complaints after they had a picture of the star smiling together with his wife Corinna above the headline "awake".
But fans who rushed to buy the women's magazine Die Aktuelle discovered it was simply full of stories of people who had awoken after a coma, and was nothing to do with the fact that the star himself was now awake.
German publisher of the magazine, the Gong-Verlag, so far declined to comment on the outrage and allegations of it was simply trying to cash in on the tragedy – Journalism Without Borders reports.
