Cosmopolitan has undergone a revamp for its July issue introducing a series of changes – including new sections, content, fonts and an new colour palette.
Pixie Lott is the first cover star of the National Magazine Company’s title, which has been refreshed by new creative director Stuart Selner.
New sections include: Man Manual – which reveals what goes on in men’s minds; Cosmo’s Happy List of 10 hot and relevant trends for the month, which will replace Cosmo News.
Features called “Sex and the Single Girl” and “Sex and the Not So Single Girl” have been also been developed from sidebars to dedicated pages, while a number of old sections have been retitled.
Justine Southall, publishing director of Cosmopolitan, said: “The new look Cosmopolitan ensures we can continue to sell at a premium cover price that is 70 per cent more than many of our rivals on newsstand.
“The redesign means Cosmopolitan will continue to stay at the top of its game for the next 40 years and beyond.”
Cosmopolitan sold an average of 430,353 copies a month in the second half of last year, down 4.5 per cent year on year. It sells for £3.40 an issue.
