Fighting for quality news media in the digital age.

The Lad Bible seeks 40 more UK staff in recruitment drive ahead of ‘global expansion’

By Freddy Mayhew

The owners of social media-driven news website The Lad Bible are on a recruitment drive to find 40 new employees in the UK ahead of plans for “global expansion” next year.

The additional roles will bring The Lad Bible’s total workforce up to 160 employees across London and Manchester with the “aggressive hiring” said to be preparation for “expansion into international markets”.

Roles said to be on offer at the group, which produces brands The Lad Bible, The Sport Bible and Pretty 52, include jobs in editorial, commercial, data science, marketing and technology.

Listings for the following editorial jobs have already appeared on the group’s website:

Co-founder and chief executive of The Lad Bible Group, Solly Solomou, said: “On the back of our strongest year yet from both an audience and revenue perspective we are focused on building out our core teams ahead of significant activity later in the year.  We’ll be launching new brands and establishing offices in new territories.

“With a strengthened UK team alongside our data insight and tech solutions already in place, we will be able to rapidly scale the business. To drive our expansion, we’re looking for talented people with a range of skills and experience.

“It’s going to be an incredible year of growth.”

Last year, rankings compiled by video analysts Tubular Labs ranked The Ladbible Group as the number one most watched media property in Europe.
