Former BBC journalist and broadcaster Stuart Hall pleads guilty to sex offences

Former BBC journalist Stuart Hall has pleaded guilty to 14 charges of indecent assault dating from between 1967 and 1985.

Hall, 83, began his career at the BBC in 1959 as a reporter on Radio Newsreel and Sports Report. For many years he presented BBC TV news programmes in the North West.

He was a regular voice on Radio 5 up until his arrest and received an OBE in 2012 for services to boadcasting and charity.
