We are about to embark upon a thorough review of every aspect of the publication of the magazine and its website – from the stories we write to the title’s design and the way it is distributed. You’ll be reading more about this project in these pages during the coming weeks and months.
The first step on this journey will entail us doing some reader research.
Which is where you come in. In the first instance, we’re inviting readers in Birmingham, Manchester and London to volunteer to take part in a qualitative reader research study that is being undertaken by independent consultancy firm Linda Jones & Partners.
Volunteers, if they fit the criteria, will attend a two-hour discussion session at 6.30pm on one of the following dates: Wednesday, 21 April: Birmingham Copthorne Hotel; Monday, 26 April: Manchester Malmaison Hotel; Wednesday, 28 April: London Radisson Hotel, Leicester Square; Thursday, 29 April: London, Research House, Wigmore Street W1.
We particularly want to hear from you if you are a subscriber, if you see Press Gazette regularly at work, or if you buy it from the news-stand.
If you are willing to volunteer – and help us improve the quality of the magazine – please contact us by e-mailing, in confidence, lagans@pressgazette.co.uk indicating which session you are available for and including a job title and a contact phone number where the researchers can reach you.
Email pged@pressgazette.co.uk to point out mistakes, provide story tips or send in a letter for publication on our "Letters Page" blog
