Some 350 shamelessly child-like journalists and PR people descended on upmarket bar The Livery near St Paul’s in London last week for networking event Schmooze and Booze’s first birthday party.
A queue quickly formed for the chocolate fountain, courtesy of Hot Chocolates, while others opted for the jelly and cream.
The event, run by Daily Mail sub-editor Helen Lewis, has grown from small beginnings – the first one year ago had 40 guests.
Schmooze and Booze is taking a break next month and will return in October.
