
The President of the International Federation of Journalists Jim Boumelha has been re-elected for a third term.
Longstanding National Union of Journalists activist Boumelha narrowly beat Belgian counterpart Phillipe Leruth in a vote at the IFJ’s world congress, which is being held in Dublin this week.
Boumelha polled 191 votes to Leruth of the Association Generale des Journalists Professionels de Belgique’s 178.
