Former financial editor at The Independent Chris Hughes is leaving PR firm Tulchan to join Bloomberg's Gadfly comment website.
Hughes has also previously worked at Breaking Views and the Financial Times.
Launched in November 2015, Gadfly is an expansion of financial newswire Bloomberg's View opinion section. Hughes joins an EMEA team that includes Leila Abboud covering tech, Chris Bryant covering industrials, Andrea Felsted covering retail, Lionel Laurent on finance/markets and Duncan Mavin covering finance and hedge funds.
