Personal Computer World magazine has undergone an extensive
redesign, incorporating two new sections: Buyer’s Guide and a consumer
advice column, Trading Standard.
PCW was launched in 1978 and
this is the first major overhaul of the VNU title’s design for five
years. Major changes have been made to the cover design, the masthead
and every section inside the magazine.
The new look has been
created with the magazine’s broad audience of PC experts, technology
professionals and knowledgeable consumers in mind and is also intended
to attract new readers from the increasingly techno-savvy public.
Publisher
Richard Wilson said: “This is geared to ensuring the editorial package
continues to compete for readers on an increasingly crowded newsstand.”
Improved
signposting and colourcoding make it easier for readers to navigate the
various sections. The paper stock has also been upgraded.
