The Yorkshire Post leads the shortlist for the 02 Media Awards for Yorkshire and The Humber with nine nominations.
The Johnston Press newspaper has been nominated in seven of the 14 categories, including newspaper of the year.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony in Leeds on 22 July.
