World Editors Forum: New York Times on paywall second coming and Reuters media boss on dealing with a ‘kaput’ business model

The Editors’ Weblog is carrying some handy reports from the World Editors’ Forum, which continues in Hamburg today.

Stand-out presentations so far include New York Times CEO Janet Robinson on the second coming of the paywall at her publication. President of media at Thomson Reuters Chris Ahearn is interesting on tablet computing and tackling the challenges of rapid technological change: “We live in a publishing world that’s so dramatically different. The old business model is dead, it’s kaput. We have to move faster, we have to move more boldly.”
