US journalist seeks story on his town’s namesake, Worcester

American journalist Jaime Flores has travelled to Worcester to find out more about the town. Flores, a reporter from Worcester, Massachusetts, wanted to find out more about his town’s namesake in England.

The Worcester News describes Flores as “a well-known media personality in Massachusetts”, writing articles for hispanic community newspaperEl Vocero Hispano and also presenting his own radio and television programmes.

How do the Worcesters compare?

Flores told the News: “Well, our Worcester is the second-largest city in Massachusetts, after Boston. It’s a lot bigger. And it’s surrounded by hills – people call it The City of the Seven Hills”
