Update 31/3: A BBC Bristol radio presenter who went missing two days ago has been found alive and well in the Lake District.
Peter Rowell failed to turn up for his show on Tuesday. He is believed to be depressed after his father’s death.
According to BBC News, his family have thanked the public and the media for all their help.
Peter Rowell presents the afternoon show on BBC Bristol and BBC Somerset. He is a former ITV West newsreader.
