Trinity Mirror is due to give an update on how well its business is performing on Thursday morning. The trading statement comes two weeks after the group announced the closure of eight newspapers in Derby and Peterborough.
According to the Mail on Sunday, the Mirror publisher will be cautious about advertising revenues in the second half of the year.
