An obituary to BBC journalist Lola Almudevar appears in today’s Guardian.
Almudevar was killed in a road accident in Bolivia on November 25 last year. Earlier in the year she had left her senior broadcast journalist job at BBC Midlands to report from South America as a freelance, filing stories for a number of newspapers including The Guardian, the San Francisco Chronicle and the Jewish Chronicle.
