A fascinating final three days before Christmas are in prospect at the Leveson Inquiry.

Today we will here from former News of the World sports reporter Matthew Driscoll, who won £792,000 in a tribunal in 2009 after it found that he was bullied out of his job.

Also due to appear are journalist James Hanning and Stuart Hoare, the brother of News of the World whistleblower Sean Hoare who died from natural causes in July.

Tomorrow the star turn will be former News of the World and Daily Mirror editor Piers Morgan – via video from the USA. Other witnesses will include former tabloid journalist Sharron Marshall, outside lawyer for the News of the World Julian Pike and chief executive of the British Association of Journalists Steve Turner.

Wednesday will see testimony from James Hipwell who was jailed in 2007 for insider dealing whilst a financial reporter at the Daily Mirror in 1999/2000. He has previously been strongly critical of Morgan’s role in that affair.
