If anyone had any doubt that the Information Commissioner means business over new EU Cookie legislation, then the situation is very clear now.
The ICO has sent a warning letter to 75 companies regarding the new rules, which I blogged about recently.
The ‘victims’ included Facebook, John Lewis and even the Cabinet Office.
If the organisations don’t respond, they could face an investigation and potential fines of up to £500,000.
You have been warned!
