Telegraph’s head of sport promoted to group managing editor role

The Daily Telegraph’s head of sport Keith Perry has been promoted to group managing editor, sport, across Telegraph Media Group. He will be involved planning for coverage of the London 2012 Olympics in the Daily and Sunday Telegraph and telegraph.co.uk.

Editor in chief William Lewis said: ‘Keith has a wealth of experience working at Telegraph Sport and is excellently placed to help us deliver first rate coverage of key sporting events across all Telegraph publications. I can’t think of a better candidate to represent the Telegraph’s continual commitment to have the best Sports coverage.”
