The Telegraph’s Saturday magazine has had its budget cut by 40 per cent.

The Guardian reports that Weekend editor Jon Stock has told contributors that the pay cut was hitting retained columnists and freelance writers alike.

The news section of Press Gazette online reports today that the Telegraph is outsourcing production of its Weekend supplements to Australia.
