Telegraph teams up with Sky Sports for new Monday football supplement

By Louise Ashwell

The Telegraph has joined up with Sky Sports to launch a new weekly football supplement from next Monday.

The first of the ‘Telegraph Total Football’ supplements will appear on Monday 12 August featuring a preview of the upcoming football season, including a wallchart of Premier League fixtures.

It will then appear every Monday throughout the season as a separate section in The Daily Telegraph. An iPad edition will also be available for download.

The new supplement will be promoted for the next month via a digital outdoor marketing campaign at London’s mainline stations.

Adam Sills, sports editor at The Daily Telegraph, said the new supplement will “Our unrivalled team of writers will provide brilliant coverage of the Barclays Premier League, Sky Bet Football League, European football and much more, and set the scene for the week ahead.”

“Alongside Britain's only separate daily sport section, which will continue comprehensive and outstanding coverage of everything away from football, it will be the definitive Monday sports package."

The launch will see the Telegraph's new supplement go up against The Times' long-running Monday football supplement The Game.
