Two of The Times’s fashion journalists are moving to the rival Telegraph.
Lisa Armstrong, who had been Times fashion editor for the past 12 years, will join Telegraph Media Group in the same role.
Luke Leitch moves with her and will be Armstrong’s deputy. He had been at The Times for six years as associate fashion editor, features writer and deputy features editor.
Telegraph editor Tony Gallagher said in a statement today: “I have always admired Lisa’s work and am delighted that she is joining our paper as Fashion Editor. She and Luke will make a first-rate team.”
The paper’s fashion director Hilary Alexander will continue to write for the title as a regular columnist.
